The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss further ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. The substance of the US settlement plan, rather than specific proposals, was discussed.

He is currently in custody. The source also told Ukrainian Pravda that Russian intelligence had provided Cutmore with firearms and ammunition 'to conduct targeted killings within Ukraine'.
